I mean like the Nightfall PvE titles, killing something give you the lucky points! and unlucky if you fail one attack, or whatever! with the influence the lucky title has now in the game, this is no more an "event" title, must have an infinite way to increase it.

I don't see why they can't just open up a permanent carnival or something. That way people can work on their titles whenever they want and have a little fun when they've got nothing to do. It would also be a good money sink. But noooo....

I rarely had time to participate in the damn events and stay on those circles all day, that my lucky title is 54 so, 95% of the time lock picks break for me!

Can you only use lock picks in hard mode?

Buy boatload of tickets, stand on circle, go to bed, take off for day, whatever. Come back and see now you have progressed and buy some more tickets if needed. It is a total AFK title. Just remember to log off every day or so...

I wondered that, but when LB title is selected you get that icon on the top left side of the screen to tell you your getting benefit, having lucky/treasure hunter selected doesn't have this and doesn't seem to alter my gameplay opening chests in any way.

im pretty sure the forumula for the chance to retain the lockpick was:
(charcter level/2)% +(3 * Treasure Hunter Title Rank)% +(2* Lucky Rank)% =
Chance to save the lockpick

Guys I think this is where the lucky aura comes in. It decreases the chance for your lockpicks to break. Just hoping though

Im lvl 3 on my treasure hunting title but have no title in lucky. I'm currently working on an "Unlucky" streak of having 10 consective lockpicks break on me after the first use. It's very frustrating to keep buying these things for 1.5k and have so many of them break after the first use.

How? Purples incresse unlucky, gold ones inclrese lucky.

Also they have sugested that picking a gold drop (like when you picked a golden egg) increased the lucky title.

Maybe that whay it would be a good way to increase it, instead of just sitting AFK in the br

There were some more ideas... but its true... currently the lucky and unlucky are a bit... 'dumb' to get.

You can't be in all events and pick the items, of have the character logged 24 hours getting tickets.
I like this suggestion, because it really is what it feels like. I feel unlucky when getting a damned purple again, while i like it getting a golden shiny "pressie".

I have always been ignoring those Lucky/Unlucky "the AFK titles" so now I really hate to see that it got a meaning and use. And even worse, there's currently NO way to earn the title, as it's very seasonal.

IMHO the whole titles should be reworked, they shouldn't be just about spending 100s hours on winning tickets in games, but should be much broader. I have a whole article coming on this subject, and will post it in Sardelac when finished.

I hear similar comments from anyone with more than 10%, I am really thinking the "formula" doesn't work in the way mathematically must. Maybe is programed in a way you can really see a difference when you have more than 10% exaggerating the things a little, because 10% versus 12% difference is nothing mathematically speaking.

i have 0 lvl in both title tracks, i've been buying picks like mad so i can up my tresure hunter and get a better% - figure might as well do it in HM where i have a better chance of getting golds to up my wisdom track at the same time.

mostly i breake the picks, but i've had two sets of picks that lasted through 4 chests... the law of averages is still going to apply here, there will be times where the random number to test it will be below the 10 several times in a row - and there will be other times where it'll be over 90% several times in a row.

Finally saved a lockpick after ~25 chests...

Even with very high level titles you're still going to break more often than not. They should fix the formula?

Does the use of lockpicks count towards high end chests? I haven't payed attention to this, but I would hope they would!

Even with the broken keys though I've gotten pretty nice stuff from HM chests. Nothing uber yet but a lot of 5-20k items with good mods. Perfect stuff for heroes!
